One of our voice actors, Patrick Stevens, wanted to update you on his MS150 Ride:
Hello Gnomes & Fans, Gasin Veestrock (Patrick Stevens) again.
Here I am, cleaned up after riding 177 miles over two days to help raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Trust me, you would not have wanted to see me before the shower, you probably would have been able to smell me just from the picture! I had a wonderful ride and wanted to thank everyone for their consideration in my effort to raise money for this worthy cause. Though the event is over, the need is always present to help people with MS.
Donations specifically to support my ride can still be submitted until Sept. 30th for the MS Society – and are always needed and appreciated. If you don’t have the means to help out with donations, I highly encourage you to go out and volunteer at one of the many events that the MS Society does all over the US (sorry, not sure about the rest of the world) or even participate and raise money yourself. I believe that this is a fantastic cause, and many of you might be surprised to find out that you actually know someone who has MS. I was surprised in this manner several years ago.
